Dan “Decibel” Sandberg
Dan Sandberg grew up in Western Mass and has always enjoyed the magic of sound recording his whole life. He would always be tape recording any sound and voice that he could at a very young age and learned a lot when he first obtained his first cassette Tascam cassette 4-Track at the age of fourteen and would experiment with multi-tracking and overdubbing. He went to Pioneer Valley Performing Arts and would spend his lunch period recording student projects using their studio. After he graduated, he befriended the professor of the music technology department at Holyoke Community College and has been helping run the class since 2012. Since then he has produced and engineered a variety of music genres, audiobooks, podcasts, and radio programs.
