David Morris

General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Vivid Seats Inc.

As the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Vivid Seats Inc. (NASDAQ:SEAT), David oversees the legal, compliance, and government affairs functions for Vivid Seats, a leading online ticketing platform that connects millions of fans with thousands of ticket sellers across hundreds of thousands of events each year, across sports, music, and theatre in North America.

Previously, David spent twelve years at TripAdvisor (NASDAQ:TRIP) managing a wide variety of legal issues at TripAdvisor’s Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Flights and Cruise businesses on a global basis, including key business transactions, product, marketing, sales, consumer law, privacy, e-commerce, government affairs, and regulatory compliance, where he was also the company’s first in-house lawyer. Prior to joining TripAdvisor in 2008, worked at Invensys PLC and the law firms of Hinckley, Allen & Snyder and Wilmer Hale.

David also serves on the Alumni Board of Brandeis University. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Traveltech (the trade association for the travel technology industry) and helped set up TripAdvisor’s Charitable Foundation.

David has multiple relatives on the autism spectrum and resides in Sharon, Mass. with his wife and two children.
