The Meals for Autism Inititative provides families and autism-serving organizations Jersey Mike's Subs to help nourish and flourish the autism community.

Each meal is a moment of comfort, connection, and care for people and families with autism. Through our partnership with Jersey Mike's Subs, the Flutie Foundation proudly provides subs to our community to nourish them so they can flourish!

Whether supporting a family during a busy therapy week or fueling a program that changes lives every day, Meals for Autism is committed to showing up, one sub at a time.

Providing Families in the Autism Community a Meal Every Single Day

The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism is proud to have pioneered the nationwide initiative for families in the autism community: a complimentary meal from Jersey Mike’s for people with autism and their immediate families for 500 concecutive days.

The Sub-A-Day program is currently closed. Stay tuned for it's re-opening!
How It Works

If your families are interested in participating, here are the simple steps:

  1. When available, fill out the form below.
  2. Pick a day that works for your family.
  3. Fill out the necessary information to secure your complimentary meal.

Once submitted, our team will handle the rest! Meals will be prepared 24-48 hours in advance, and families can pick them up at their selected Jersey Mike’s location.

Meals include up to 4 regular-size subs from a pre-set selection.

Eligibility: One free meal per family, per year. This program is exclusively for people with autism and their immediate families.

Order Notes: Special orders and modifications are not possible at this time.

Availability: If the preferred date is full, families can revisit the link as more dates will become available throughout the year.
