Family rooting for a team
Meet Our Team

Vincent Egan

Vincent Egan, 28, born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO.  Employed at the Arc of the Pikes Peak Region, a non-profit agency that serves individuals with I/DD and Eisenhower Golf Club, at the Air Force Academy.  It is my goal to one day work full-time in the golf industry, with aspirations of one day becoming a professional golfer.  I have my eyes set on finalizing specific plans by 2025. I am a Special Olympic (SO) athlete and in 2017 had the privilege to represent Colorado in Alpine Skiing at the Winter World Games in Austria, winning Gold in the Giant Slalom and 4th in the Super G. I hope to one day represent Colorado in Golf at a Summer World Games. I love playing golf, it is my favorite sport. I keep myself busy year-round with SO Unified Soccer, having played for the Colorado Rapids FC and currently for the Switchbacks FC, both experiences have been exceptional.  I also play SO fall flag football and winter basketball to keep in shape in my golf “off season” when most Colorado golf courses are closed.  I am an Athlete Leader, graduating in 2021 from SO Athlete Leadership University. As an alumnus, I now teach a curriculum I created called “Athletes as Coaches” to athletes interested in becoming a Special Olympics Coach. I currently coach SO Youth Basketball, volunteer at my church when I can and when I’m not coaching, working or playing sports, I’m watching sports – I love watching soccer, golf and football.  Though I live in Colorado, where sunsets are a beautiful orange, my blood runs green, I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan through and through!  Fly Eagles Fly (Sorry Doug!)
