Write My Story – Britini D’Angelo
Britini D’Angelo is a performer, Special Education Teacher, content creator and advocate whose work bridges education and social impact. As a former houseguest on Big Brother Season 23 (CBS), Britini made a lasting impression not only as Juror #1, but as a powerful voice for inclusion. During the show’s historic finale, she shared her autism diagnosis on national television, an act that sparked meaningful conversations, challenged stigma, and inspired audiences across the country.
Since her time on the show, Britini has become a passionate advocate for the autism community, raising over $25,000 for organizations and amplifying acceptance & inclusion through media appearances, podcasts, and public speaking engagements. Grounded in her lived experience, she is committed to fostering understanding, acceptance, and empowerment.
At the heart of Britini’s story is her deep-rooted connection to music. She has been singing since she could talk and plays four instruments, each serving as a powerful outlet for expression and connection. As a nonverbal autistic child, often not noticing when someone entered the room and deeply immersed in her own world, music became her bridge to everything around her. It allowed her to connect, communicate, and discover her voice long before she could fully articulate her thoughts. That lifelong bond continues to shape her artistry and fuel her advocacy today.
Academically accomplished, Britini earned a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Niagara University, along with certifications in Special Education and Theatre Education. She also holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Theatre Performance and Communications & Media Studies. She was named Valedictorian of Niagara University’s Class of 2019.
