Support Running

Pairing Support Runners and Adaptive Athletes at Races Locally and Abroad

Support runners are one of the greatest resources available for autistic adaptive athletes, and we are proud to be building a network of experienced support runners who have dozens of years and hundreds of miles logged in support of adaptive athletes from the Boston Marathon to local 5Ks and beyond.

Interested in Becoming a Support Runner?

Want to make your miles mean more by serving as a support running for a Flutie Foundation supported autistic adaptive athlete? We'd love to meet you and find out if you'd be a good fit! Support runners should have extensive experience running the distance(s) they hope to support a runner in and should be prepared to guide runners at paces no faster than a margin slower than their fastest time in that distance. Current races in need of Support Runners include the:

Boston Marathon

Beantown Marathon

with more to come!
