On Sunday, October 4th we hosted our 16th Annual Flutie 5k. Close to 900 runners and walkers tied up the laces of their sneakers and participated in this year’s event. Each year, we are inspired by all the new and familiar faces we see. This particular event brings our community together in such a special way – families proudly wearing matching shirts with the name of a loved one living with autism, corporate teams coming out on their day off to make a difference, youth groups volunteering their time to help set up tables and chair, and local residents showing up in droves to stand in unity.
Thanks to the collective efforts of our participants, volunteers, spectators,and sponsors, we raised $100,000 to further our mission of helping families with autism live life to the fullest.
